Well after 2 years of drag racing and a few too many 2nd gear burnouts on the factory diff, she finally let go. Now Im faced with a problem, waranty wont cover it (No biggie there) but I figured while it needs replacing...might as well upgrade! Problem is Im not to familiar with how to upgrade the drivetrain yet.
What my questions are:
A) Ive heard that the Cobalt SS has a limited slip diff that will drop right in, is this total B.S. or true?
B) If it is true, about how much would it be for an LSD out of a Cobalt SS? Or even how much is any aftermarket LSD approximately?
As I side note I eventually plan on boosting to around 300-350 whp and would like something that will stand up to that if I can buy it now. And yes...axles are secong on the parts list!

From what I have heard, the F25 (Cobalt) diff is not a drop in into our F23 trans...... Quaife even lists 2 different part numbers for the F25 and F23.
Quaife makes a full lsd/diff unit, but its $1400+ (check Hypsy's site, he has it on there)
