Ok i ordered a remanufactured 5 speed isuzu for a 2.4. Tranny came in and everything on the tranny is correct except for the the area around the starter. It seems like on the new one the starter location is more towards the bottom. So i'm thinking i got a tranny for a 2.2 and not a 2.4. Can someone tell me if the only difference between the two trannys is the bell housing?

They also have different gearing.

I ordered in from autozone.

AutoZone has problems getting the right transmissions some times...... just have them send it back, and get another one.

Shifted had one from AutoZone, and it leaked like crazy......

Yeah i stopped in this morning. They had ordered a 2.2 not a 2.4. Shifted or SpeedRacerZ, where did the tranny leak and are you still running an autozone tranny?
