will the 2.2 five speed work with a LD9?
no unless you do some crazy gosh darn modifying some how it wont, you need to use either if you have the 96-99 years the isuzu for direct it and if you have an 00' and up the getrag. If you need one email me. Good luck
I was under the impression that as long as its 95-99 2.4 and a 95-99 2.2 they will swap. Same with a 00+ Thought they were the same.

No. Bellhousings are different for a 2.4 and 2.2.

Would be nice if they did. Would make allot of 2.4 guys happy. haha. And piss off the junk yards cause then they couldn't charge so damn much.
