I remeber i seen posts of someone doing this.
My tranny builder is in the process of doing this.
was just wondering who all else has put 2.2 insides 'all' in a 2.4 case. and how they like it with the lowerr gears etc.
My buddy has it....... he's diggin the lower cruising RPMs on the hwy........ saves on gas.....

Different ratio's, same strength, assuming this is an isuzu, if getrag they are identical.
15.3 @ 89.97mph, 14's on the way?
I had the 2.4 guts in my 2.2 case with no problems.
275hp & 306tq - 1999 2.2 ohv
13.2 @ 108 mph
