HELP Eco Tq spec for Flywheel and Pressure Plate??
Friday, March 03, 2006 4:44 PM
Does anyone know how much to torque the flywheel and pressure plate bolts for the ecotec? I have a spec stage 3 and RK light weight flywheel, but cant find how much to torque them down. I tried searching but i can't seem to find an answer. If someone can help, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

I just did it on my 2.4..... but cant remember it off the top of my head..... it was something low, plus 45*...... I think 20ft/lbs plus 45* on the flywheel..... but I'll look at the manual tonight if I remember.

I found it in another threat, supposively 18 ft lbs, I guess well see if that holds Just made sure there was plenty of locktite, the bolts are very small. My guess is 180 in lbs + 30 degrees is somewhat close to 18 ft lbs. Thanks!
