Clunk from drivetrain when accelerating
Thursday, February 23, 2006 9:18 PM
I have an 01 Sunfire SE/coupe/2.2L Engine/4 speed auto/61,000. After coasting anywhere from 20mph to 50mph and then accelerating, I hear and feel
one slight "clunk" from the drivetrain. This started about 2,000 or 3,000 miles
ago. It's barely noticeable to me and someone who doesn't drive the car every day
will probably not notice it at all. I'm getting worried and wonder what could be
wearing out or going wrong. Everything else about the car is normal.
