Question--I paid this dude to take my transmission out and when i bought a new one he couldnt put it in quick enough for me so i did it. It went in fine, but my problem is with the clutch slave cylinder. The line that goes in the tranny wont stay in. Can someone please help me?

there is a clip........like a hair pin that holds it in..........if its not there it wont stay in.

the guy proally took it off to take it apart and didnt put it back on.

Thanks, I asked the people at the parts dept. about it at the chevy dealership and they are old and didnt know. They said i would have to buy a new slave cylinder and its $450. I only paid $385 for the tranny. Right now i have a piece of wire in it holding it in, but it slides out and i have to pull over and fix it.
