Since you have a governor on your car, you will go 108.

As for what the actual gear will do for you it depends on how much power you make to actually move the car along with exactly what transmission you have in your car.

For example, say if you have a 2002 2.4L 5 Speed Cavalier. Put your car in 5th Gear and drive... when you reach say 3200 RPM look at the speedo and see how fast you are going.... lets just say it says 70 MPH in 5th gear @ 3200 RPM.. double the RPM 6400 RPM apx the redline on the car and you will come up with a 140 MPH that you can do in 5th gear. There is also a factor of not having enough power to make you go that fast......

That factor is key cause it probably wont work like that, seeing as how the wind or frictional resistance or whatever increases like a banshee past 100.

My 5th gear has pulled me to 135mph, and it still had a few RPMS left till redline. I do not advise going this fast. My car was still pulling hard at 135 too, but thats with a turbo. I don't know what a stock engine could go, I doubt much, if any over 120.
