i have had the b&m shift plus installed on my 97 2.4 auto for about six months now and have had no problems until last week. It seems that the thing is stuck on. even when the tab is in the off position the tranny still shifts like the thing was on. I have tried numerous things to fix it but I cant. any help on how to cure the problem would be great.

shut the car off, turn it to off, and then restart car... if that doesnt work maybe the shiftplus was never working for you and your just expiriencing normal shifting, either that or maybe there is something wrong with the unit itself...

either way why turn it off?

if it still doesn't go away disconnecft thae battery for 15min and try again
