Has any one replaced this yet? I heard a snap, the pedal went to the floor and never came back. I had to pull it up with my hand. The rod from the pedal to the master cylinder broke.
Yes, it's easy. Take out your battery, and airbox. That'll give you a clear line of sight to the clutch master cylinder. Use a 13mm deep socket to get off the two nuts on either side of the master cylinder, and pull the master cylinder out. It will only come a little bit until you go under the dash and disconnect the rod from the pedal though. So disconnect that, and pull the master cyl the rest of the way out. Then use an awl or small drill bit to push the retaining pin out of the collar that hold the clutch line into the master cyl. It won't be easy to get that pin out, but you should be able to manage it without beating on it. The you bench bleed the new master and put it in the reverse order you took the old one out. You'll probably still need to do more clutch line bleeding after that, but that's the basic jist.
