are the cv joints the same either auto or manual can they be switched? one from auto to be put on a manual tranny for a 96 z24. Thanks!

Auto and 5 speed are usually different... but there's a LONG list of parts... some can swap... depends on year, 3 or 4 speed auto.. manual...

The outer part of the CV assembly is the same... but the shaft and inner assembly is totally different.
