You might remember like a week or 2 ago I posted "name that noise" and a few of you helped me out? Well, the poor little Vibe didn't make it, she seized up lastnight and wouldn't move an inch, even in neutral, it's like the e-brake is on. Not good! A new tranny is 2800$ but we found one for 1000$ used from a wreck with only 23,000 kms on it. Wish me luck! This sucks!!!

GET A USED ONE! i got mine already pulled WITH clutch flywheel and pressure plate with 40k on it for $400cnd
Oh, we will be! Still $1000 bucks though. I should try to get all of the other stuff you got too...it's all from the junk yard. My bf said that if we put in the new tranny then we might as well put in a new clutch...1 with 23000 kms on it is pretty new!

Man i only payed $2300 cdn and i got all the seals re done on my trany, every thing taken out, replaced and fullyed cleaned out. and most of the bearings replaced, Quaife LSD spec 3 clutch and flywheel.... i wouldnt pay that much for a stock trany ever...

Adam got the casing off the other night and there was a ton of metal flakes in there, plus two big chunks of plastic...It's royally F'ed. Our junked one comes this morning at 9...yippie! Having only one car between the two of us sucks!
