I just put in a new Centerforce Duel Friction clutch from Summit ($240), Fidanza aluminum flywheel from Ultrarev ($296), New Slave cyl./throwout bearing from Consumer Auto Parts ($140), and 3 quarts of GM Synchromesh ($30). Oh my god, why didnt I do this sooner? The clutch feels so good now. It actually catches in the same spot every time, feels the same from the top all the way to the floor (not heavy until 3/4 down getting real light) , and the engine revs up so much smoother and faster. you can definately feel an increase in power from this setup. No complications during the install. it took about 4 hours to do. I would definately recommend this setup.
sounds like the setup im about to do. hope mine turns out as well as yours did. do the labor yourself?
I did everything myself. I thought it was going to be harder and take longer but it wasnt too bad. Just make sure you have a set of 12 point metric sockets.
