Well i am wondering if any one else out there has any info on how to install this? clutch and fly wheel are easy as they are just rplacing the stock stuff.... but i dont know how to install this Differential.. do i need shims? or should i take the trany out, put the clutch and fly wheel in and give the trany and differential to a tranny shop and tell them to put it in?

Got experience rebuilding transmissions?
I didn't either... so I took my LSD insert along with the transmission and $250 and a shop did it for me...
From what I understand.. you'll need a bunch of specialized tools to take the tranny apart... reverse torx ones. My advice is just take it somewhere and have them do it. Very few if anyone on here will be able to give you advice of having done it themselves.
yea thats what i thought... thanks man... ill just put the clutch/flywheel in and bring it to a shop

Well I can get you the instrusction but you have to have a bunch of Torx sockets and inverted and Alens. Up to T60's which are huge for the intermediate and main shaftes.
Getting the shifting assembly in is a beeeeeatch.
Also, you are gonna need to get a new seal and oil guide to get to intermediate shaft bolt anyways. You have to break them no other way of doing it.
Then yes you are going to have to shim or at least check the diff clearance.
Also, if you are changing your side differential bearings and races which I did and they are like $90 a piece you are gonna need a press to get the races out of the tranny casing.
I got mine done locally for like $150, but I know the guy and I had it 90% apart cause I couldn't get those big T60 Alens off they had like 300 ft/tq on them and I couldn't hold them to find out that you just jam the tranny in 2 gears at the same time.
What a hoe.
Good luck man, I love the Quaife. Look at my 60 foots!

Why drop the tranny 2 times? Do it all at the same time.
I did mine when I regeared my trans. it's not that hard if you have a Unit Repair Manual from GM. It'll take about 5hrs. or so after you get the trans. out of the car.

Which tranny? Isuzu or Gretrag?
O noes!
If I could just remember where all of the detents go, I could swap a differential in about 30 mins.

That is on a Izuzu trans without checking clearances.
