if anybody has gotten say the B & M shfiterand had someone professionaly install it.... how much did it cost you on install???????
do it yourself. It takes half an hour
Find someone in your region that has installed one and offer them beer to help you on yours. The 00+ shifters are super easy to install.
Yeah, it's really easy. if you can turn a ratchet, you can do it.
I'd go as far to say.... removing the centre console is more challenging. And that's only 4 10mm bolts.

Only tricky part is removing the shift rods without breaking the retainers.
And make sure you put tape on the cables where the connections came off. That way you dont have to guess where they were before.

I got my B&M short shifter new in box for $71.50 shipped. Gotta love e-bay!!!
BTW, it cost me 99¢ to install. That was for the grease to lube up the new shifter ball.
