NVG T550 Tranny Installed

Joe @ Racetech put this tranny in for me.... and let me tell you - what an upgrade.

Longer 1 and 2... shorter 3, 4 and (sadly) 5.....

We put in the H.O axles with this setup, alongside a Spec stage 3 clutch, isuzu polyurethane transmission mount inserts and an Isuzu B&M short throw shifter.

The combo is amazing... shifts are solid, there is no slop to the transmission and best of all I don't have to worry about grenading the differential.

I recommend this swap to anybody looking to upgrade from the Isuzu piece of garbage that came in our cars.

All I can say is wow - I am a happy man.

Slicks HERE I COME!

Just curious- does that setup include the tube style intermediate shaft or are the axles unequal length?

"Equal" length H.O axles, using the Jack shaft.

Everything bolt up? What all is needed, I'm in the market right now of replacing my transmission, cause everything went south on me after installing my new clutch and throw out bearing. So I'm looking to either get it rebuilt with Better/stronger gears, and differental. but would it be better to go different trans all the way around? I've got to weigh my opintions and get back to the guy who is going to be working on the car since I couldn't get the damn thing home.
