I searched but I couldn't find anything that told me what other makes/models have the same trans that a '98 Z24 does.

I heard the Isuzu / Geo Storm trans fits and it's stronger, is that true?

I'm asking because my trans recently died and am looking for something to replace it with temporarily while I rebuild the old one. On that subject, where could I get stronger internals for a rebuild?

i have a rebuilt one out of a 96 for sale. It has aout 1100 miles onit since the rebuild.
I have since gone with a getrag/eco swap

what fits........ any 93-94 trans from a Quad 4 equipped car...... and trans from a 95-99 car w/ 2.4, and any 00+ car with a 2.4......

some will take some work to get it in, but its all covered in this forum.
