Are transmssion bolt patterns the same?
Monday, September 12, 2005 8:09 PM
I have an Idea for a sleeper. I recently saw a supercharged ecotech 2.0 gm performance parts crate motor. I was thinking stuff one of these into a first gen 4 door and no one would suspect it. My question is will it bolt up to the older 3spd auto or stick and what about a torque converter and flex plate?

No, no & no. You would need alot of stuff.

Here's a search on all ecotec swaps...

I realize its not gonna be a direct bolt in. I was just curious if the non computerized trans would bolt up to it. Guess I will have to go manual.
