ok the book said it didnt have to be changed until like 75 thousand or something i have 49 thousand miles now should i change it its an 03 cavalier ls sport coupe
30000 miles or once a year is the rule of thumb, dont flush it, it does more harm than good, just drop pan and replace filter/ gasket. dealer says 75000 because they want you to buy a new car soon.
mine was flushed at 50000 and was in rough shape at that time partially cause im not the nicest on the car either
