Okay I'm shopping for a new clutch and I have been searching around, I here that the spec stage 3 clutch makes a loud chattering noise? Is that true?
wondering what the HP ratings were on the stage 2 and stage 3
And I've asked b4 and im wondering about their lightend fly wheel (spec)
is it really worth it, I know you lose a little ease on the daily driving, but does it really hurt that bad down low?
Any advice or suggestions would really help me out thanks

They are all listed there.................
Stage 1--------225 torque
stage 2---------285 torque
stage 3---------330 torque
stage 4---------330 torque(must just be harsher engagement)
stage 5---------510 torque
I know thats the torque capicity not hp numbers but that should tell you what is best for your needs

Yes officer I knew the speed limit was 50
oops those are for the 2.2L non ecotec not sure the exact numbers but they should be clsoe to the LD9 ones which are slighty higher than those ones in the last post
LD9 numbers:
stage 1-------------250 TQ
stage 2-------------310 TQ
stage 3-------------360 TQ
stage 4-------------360 TQ
stage 5-------------550 TQ
Not for the ecotec but those figures must be close

Peak torque is greater than torque at peak hp, so don't worry about hp #'s. But if you're worried, pick a hp # and an rpm, then do this:
hp * 5252 / rpm = tq
example: 250 hp @ 5500 rpm = 238 ft/ lbs tq
hope this helps.

No those tq specs will do fine, I just couldn't find any that specified the exact ecotec #'s but your right that should be it. Anyone know of the noise I am refering to? I still curious to see if all the stage3's chatter and if they do then I hope the stage 2 doesn't.
