I have a 98 z24, at 69000 miles the tranny was shot, spider gears all locked up. I got a tranny from the yard from an acheiva, rolled 37000 miles. The book said it wouldn't work, but it slapped right in with a little shifter cable mod. But now reverse sounds crazy ass, does anyone know what the difference between the trannies?
