Stacked late VS Tube and Fin

anyone on here have much view on this topic of transmission oil coolers?

right now i am running a tube and fin from flex a Lite, but now thinking of switching to a Tube and fin from either derale, B&M, or even hayden....

more than likely it will be concealed and not in front of the car anymore, but will run with a fan.

so anyone have any experience views?

As with any cooler your best off putting it in the front of the car. You don't see anyone that is turboing a car put the intercooler on the side or underneath, unless of course space is a limiting factor. In front of the radiator is a perfect spot. It allows the fan for the radiator to do the same thing that adding another fan and cooler would do. As for the difference in construction I cant say I know anything.

well that i know, as thats where my current one is... however until i get the griffin radiator installed, i dont wanna compromise any of the cooling for the small stock radiator. its not much a problem now, but still weighing out some options especially on building a shroud and modifying by cutting the rksport 95-99 bumper.

the only part i hate about it is the fact it closed up the cooling hole that was between the center of the hood and the bumper. which when it comes to air flow, that kinda de-engineered the car cooling wise.

but basically i will already be running it through the radiator cooler first then an aux cooler.

but seeing if i can do a more efficient setup as the heat from a trans cooler, which then goes through the a/c condensor and if thats on its hot, and then the air finally goes across the radiator itself.

alot of hotter than ambient air comes through the radiator by the time the aux cooler and the a/c condensor is through with it.

know what i mean?

well i plan on using the b&m transcooler with the fan , and putting it inside the bumper and laying it on the fender liner and pushing the air out the bottom of the liner i also plan on running a duct to get it fresh air

since there is enough bumper space to get air to it

the plate style coolers are susposed to be better , but i dont have any experence with them
