I'm going to upgrade my auto transmission. I'll probably buy the yank tc off ebay. I was wondering if any of you guys that installed this tc noticed the transmission got hotter to the point where a better tansmission cooler was needed.

Bolt-on-Horsepower is selling a tansmission oil cooler upgrade. trans cooler Do you guys think i'll need it? The price doesnt seem bad at all.

^ Yup..

I have a Hayden 1677 (medium duty driving) on my (now) otherwise stock automatic. Keeps the tranny nice and cool... fluid should last a lot longer... not that I use that as a reason for not changing it... I do that on a regular basis as well.

I think the one on Ebay looks way too small. You can get a much larger one at any parts store for about that price.

Look for one that is about 50.00. Hayden is a good brand. I love mine.

Look for a dense fin pattern. Try to match it as close to the OEM pattern as possible.
