Egad...
I'm trying to understand what you're saying... but I just can't get it.
So, you installed the Autotrans Interceptor... and your hp went up. How do you know that? Did you get the car dyno'ed? Or are you relying on a butt dyno here?
1/4 mile time... what was it before AND after?
The settings on the Interceptor are simple.
The TCC delay is the amount of time it will wait to lock up the torque converter clutch. You can set it from "as soon as possible" to "take as long as you want". Taking shorter is good for fuel economy, but bad for hard parts in the tranny, exhaust (engine/transmission clunking around, unless you have aftermarket engine mounts), etc. Longer is better for power, but not really on the racetrack. As far as I know, that control is hidden inside the case now, but that may have changed again.
The Line Pressure adjustment is the main one. The higher you set it, the harder and faster the shifts are going to be. Again, if you don't have aftermarket engine mounts, the poor engine & transmission are going to slop around in the engine bay.
