hey i have a 98 2.4 and third gear is going, the transmision was rebuilt 16 months ago, it now has 20k on the rebuild, third gear synkro is going. i took it back to the place were it was rebuilt and they are being dicks and dont want to fix it. my question is how hard is it to fix the third gear synkro?

Yet again, I would definatly look into getting a new set of shift cables before you talk about having your tranny rebuilt. Our shifters are sloppy and the cables easily stretch out. When that happens third is the most common gear to not go in at high RPM's.
