i have a 99 z with auto tranny and 100k it never gets driven since im not 16 but my dad took it to work about a week ago and about 2 miles there the tranny started acting up everytme u start moving from a stop it shifts quickly into 4th gear like at 15 mph it goes into 4th gear and the check engine light comes on. what could be causing this it only happens if u drive it like for ten miles then go 60mph for about a mile?
really why do u think it takes ten minutes or so for it to happen
10-minutes? Could be until the trans fluid gets moving. Could be until the trans heats up, etc
whats the code from the check engine light?
i got a trouble code reader and started drove a couple miles it wouldnt go off im gonna have to take it out and find out whats wrong
