Not sure where this should be posted but i figured this would be a good place.

Ok onto my problem...

For a while now, my car has been kinda rough to start. Usually it would just start right up but for a while now, it would take a couple tries for it to even start. Today it won't start at all. It seems like it wants to start, and it tries to... but it doesn't. I dont really know how to explain it but basically my car doesn't want to start.

I've tried boosting my car with 3 different cars but it still won't start. My alarm goes off all night, every night and i figured, at first, that my battery was dead but now that i have gone through 3 unsucessful attempts to boost it, im pretty positive it's not a dead battery. My alarm still goes off all day and my radio and everything else works but it just doesn't want to start.

I do have the Clifford alarm with the remote start and i've heard that the remote start can wear/ware (whatever) out my starter so i'm not so sure what it can be.

Has anybody else gone through this? What did u do? What can i do?


It is a 2002 ,Automatic, 2.2, Cavalier if that helps any.
