i'm doing a auto to 5 speed swap, i have all the parts, even a starter from a 96 2.4L 5 speed, it looks bigger than the starter in my 99 2.4L Auto. i would like to use the 99 starter (since it newer), just wondering if they are all the same in auto's and 5 speeds. I checked ebay, and they mentioned it fits 2.4L cavalier/sunfires, but the didnt mention which trannys.

In 99 they started using a smaller starter, they are both the same though, you can use the one from the auto.
