Im located here in Germany and fellow J members any help would be greatly appreciated. Here is my question and I hope yall can supply me with some answers. I have 96 Sunfire 2.2 automatic 3 spd, I just found a 99 Cav automatic 3spd will that transmission fit in my fire and if so will i have to change anything.

Yes it will. All the 3spd's in the Cavi's are the 3T40/TH-125C. They only came on the 2.2/2200's(2nd & 3rd Gen) or the 2.8/3.1 60*V6's(2nd gen) and they have the same tranny bolt pattern. Since the new tranny's from a '99 its from a 2200 so the gearing and torque converter will be very close in gearing and stall speed. You will have no problems putting this tranny in your car.... unless you doing it you self, which is a PITA!
