I was wondering if there is a conversion for the 05 Cavalier to have a shift gate rather then a boot. I think a chromed shift gate would look a lot better then a colored boot, but I can't find anything on it. Do they make anything for that, or is a custom job?
like the ferrari shifters? That would be a nice touch, but definitely a custom job, i have never seen anything like that before.
Well, not exactly like a Ferrari, cause I've seen some other cars have it like the Mazda 3, The Honda prelude, etc. How the hell would I even go about making that...? I'd have to adjust the trans and what not, right...?
you just need to figure lout how far the stick has to move to be all the way in gear and make slots for it to move in between all the gears.
I think this will be my big project for the summer, lol. I think it'll turn out awesome, specially if I can get it a nice polished silver or metallic blue when done.
