I'm wondering if I can bolt a v6 J or 2.3 DOHC clutch to my LT3. Stock clutch is 8 1/2" diameter, 14 spline. V6 J car and 2.3L DOHC engines use a 9 1/8" clutch.

Here's why I'm wondering if the larger clutch is a bolt in. 2.2L OHV J car uses 8 1/2" clutch disc. The 2.2 and v6 J cars list the same part number flywheel in the aftermarket database that I used. I'm wondering if the V6 clutch and 2.2 clutch fit the same bolt pattern in the flywheel. If so, there's a chance that the LT3 flywheel uses the same pressure plate bolt pattern. Any clues or conclusive answers will be appreciated.
