Transmission Bleeding Procedure
Wednesday, May 04, 2005 4:18 PM
Ok, I have a 98 Pontiac Sunfire Gt and i recently removed the transmission and replaced the flywheel, installed a new (spec stage II) clutch, and slave cylinder. After installing all of the new internal parts i bolted in my NEW tranny. I have tried bleeding the clutch but i was unsure if i was performing the right procedure because the pedal seems soft until about 3/4 of the way down, then i can feel resistance from there until the floor. It is also difficult to shift thru the gears, i am jus looking for some kind of direction, did i install something wrong?
