I just installed it 2 days ago and have been useing it at the track..........people ask if it is a five speed becuase of the way the back end dips like when a five speed shifts, the shifts are so much cleaner and precise. all i can say is that when you install it right you will know the difference.

racing a ford is like racing a fat kid.

i've owned both the autotrans interceptor and the BM shiftplus.
for shifting purposes and the way the car acted i'd pick the interceptor
*plus the audjustability of it was nice..
now with the BM i like the way it shifts, but it is not as hard as the interceptor, even at the #2 setting, but i like the convience of the BM more.... and my interceptor would act goofy when it got warm, i didn't have it wrapped or anything to shield it, so maybe that was the problem. but in the whole gist of things i'd pick the BM over the autotrans, it's holding up better.
