Are there any better-than-stock trannies out for the Cavalier? I've got an 03 auto that I REALLY want to swap to manual. I have a mechanic who is capable and is trading favors with me (he wants to get wired at his shop, I need a tranny swap...) and I just want to know if there is anything better than the Getrag out there. I'm hitting up as many junkyards as I can find, hoping some moron trashed his Cavy and not the tranny.

No there are not...well unless you want Mantapart to sell you one of their close-ratio isuzus for a couple grand.
