I bought a bm short throw on ebay that came with the whole kit and it was steel............i just found one on car custom that was billet aluminum..........do they both have the same shift throw or is one shorter than the other and any info please tell me thank you...............

the 00-05 shifter is alot different than the 95-99 shifter
the 00-05 is more aluminum looking
Well I was going to say... buying it from e bay chances are he got a knock off made in China or something.... so that could be the reason why they are different..... but with out knowing for sure.. hard to tell....
