I am a little comfused on the air fuel ratios I should be seeing with the GM blower. First of all, does the SAFC-2 tell you your ratio? If not how can I tell. I have been told an AF guage doesnt do much, I have heard it refered to as a light show. I will be using both my APEXI SAFC2, and Cartech FMU I just dont know how to read AF ratios or how to get them.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure the SAFC-II doesn't show a/f ratios. The only way you're going to get an accurate reading would be with a wideband o2 sensor. Wideband sensors use their own oxygen sensor and go off a wider voltage (hence, the name). I purchased an Innovate Motorsports LM-1 wideband kit from Karo for a real good price. Blown.

the SAFC can be hooked up to read voltage from your o2 sensor, offering nothing but a super expensive narrowband o2 gauge and @!#$ty tuning abilities.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.

I'd like to know how. The SAFC only has one other input that you could put that on, the knock reading, and since the knock sensor just displays a decimal number, that wouldn't help you much. Even if you watched the inputs screen that displayed the raw readings, you'd just see a voltage. Well you'd need a chart with the a/f sensor curve on it, compare the voltage reading to the curve, then you can figure out you're a/f... all while driving down the road at wot

Buy stuff from CarCustoms Ebay! Won't be disappointed!
I wouldnt hook up the s-afc to the oxygen sensor if i were you.It sends voltage out to the ecu,and will give it false readings. When i was diagnosing my car when it was running rough,i disconnected the o2 sensor. The car ran better, but i had no check engine light on in the dash.I thought maybe something was wrong with the ecu. When i was looking at the sensor check on the s-afc,the o2 was reading .200v at idle, and gave different voltage readings when driving. It was giving the computer just enough voltage to keep the ecu from triggering the check engine light for a faulty oxygen sensor. When i disconnected the s-afc,it triggered the check engine light right away. So,i would stay away from the blue wire mod if i were you.And if your o2 sensor ever goes bad, youll never know because the s-afc keeps the readings within spec.Id invest in a real wideband if i were you.I have the plx m300 wideband, and its awsome.
