yep... another week and I get the smaller pulley.....
So, I forget completely who did a write up on the swap....if someone could point me into the right direction that would be awesome....
And, for the guys that have the 2.6" pulley, will a mix of windshield washer fluid and water be good, or should I go with the heet and water?
Also, anything I should do to prep the car before I go ahead with the swap?
Thanks a bunch guys, will def have a before and after vid for ya all.....

Do you have bigger injectors or any other fuel modifications? How are you controlling your fuel (for correct a/f ratio)? I think fuel is the major issue when you're doing this change because you will be reaching a higher PSI...simple boost logic plays effect...More Air requires more fuel.
Anymore questions?

Well its been posted time and time again... but you will not need any thing more when you put your smaller pulleys on... many people have done it... and some have the wide band to show that your Air/fuel is fine even with the 2.6" pulley...
I personally have been driving around with the 2.6" pulley since September with no alcohol injection and all the same injectors and stock fuel pump... Granted it gets heat soaked like crazy and i just don't get as much power but thats all... I should put the 2.7" back on but im just too lazy
I ran straight windshield washer fluid when i had the alcohol kit on, and wow did my supercharger get cold... i loved it... huge power... as for a comparison..... i kept right up to my buddys 1992 Skyline GTS-T with full exhaust and intake...
And NJHK put up the link to my write up on how to install these pulleys... any more questions about that let me or bobby on here know as he could help you out just as well as i could...

most methanol injection sites reccommend using methanol water mix. You can buy it online. Windshield wiper fluid is not really a good mix unless its that red stuff from prestone that is was ripp mods uses on their supercharger kits but when buying the wi kit ask the manufacturer. Methanol can be purchased online.

as far as feul upgrades, toss a wb on there just to be sure.
alky injection is key on these roots type blowers

I live in Calgary Alberta were the temps in the winter can get to -35 and even -40 with the wind... so if the windshield stuff i am using is good to that... and then some... i am sure its got a fair amount of alky in it
but most of the time i have a mix... 50/50 of windshield washer fluid and pure alcohol that i jack from my old man who has it for his car....

yea 14 sec car so are you saying i am lieing? or agreeing with me? if you are disagreeing with me... work it out... 10psi on my car with other upgrades puts it at about 215whp... give or take... the skyline is like 220hp?? or something very close to that and weights more...
There is a number of people on here with Wide bands on their cars with the GM kit and they have all said the Air/fuel is perfectly fine with the 2.6" pulley and stock fuel set up and i know people with the stock fuel pump on a Turboed 2.4L's pushing 12psi of boost and having perfectly fine Air/fuel mixture... so i am sure you will be fine with a 2.6" pulley as you wont be pushing nearly that much boost i can tell you that much now...
The GM supercharger will not get you past 10psi... and if you do i can almost guaranty its only a boost spike when you get up around 5000-5500RPM... As these Roots blowers are very unstable when they get up past 14,000RPM which the 2.6" pulley puts it close to 15,000 rpm i believe... (this is with an engine RPM of about 4500 i think ??) so when your revving it up close to red line your spinning that s/c'er way past what Eaton recommends....

so why do people get the 2.5" pulley if from what your saying the 2.6" puts the car near maxability for boost? im ordering my boost pulley to see 9-10psi and i really would like to know about this. thanks

I honistly do not know why people get the 2.5"... and some.. or at least one guy says he has a 2.4"... ahaha you would be spinning it WAY past what it should for 1. and you wouldnt see any more boost ... i think one guy said he got 12psi on this supercharger but i will put money on it that it was a boost spike...
I persoanly have the 2.8", 2.7", 2.6" and 2.5" pulley because i got them all threw a deal but i dont really plan on using the 2.5"... ill test it out just to show people you dont get any thing more from it.. but thats it...
If you want to see 9-10psi get the 2.6" and you would need alcohol injection for this or good luck seeing past 6psi... (which im sure you know any way) and you can get the 2.7" which is good for when you dont want to use alochol but still want more boost....
