Love fab Mini-me Manifold

Ok here's the deal i'm was looking to do a turbo when i got back from my deployment to Iraq but i didn't want the standard log manifold that everyone is making for our car's so i started talking to the owner of Love Fab, they normaly make manifolds for honda/acura's, nissan, and Mitsubishi. But he said he was very interested in making one for our cars, namely the ecotech but i'm sure he could make them for the other engine's we have.

Now let me first put out i'm not getting paid a dime to do this for them i'm not getting any discount or anything of that sort, the only thing i get out of this is a badass turbo manifold for the same price that he'll charge the rest of you.

Love fab is one of the best turbo manifolds makers out there, and yes it's a bit expensive, but i think it's worth it.

now on to the business at hand the only thing i need is someone with a ecotech engine (sunfire/cavy it doesn't matter), that would be will to allow him to keep your car for a short time while he mocks and fabricates a manifold.

I would gladly give up my car but the ecotech engine swap isn't done yet and i live in texas
So basicly what i'm asking for is someone in the Williamsburg, MI area to lend there car to Love fab. I am here just looking for someone to volunteer for this, after you say yes i will put you in contact with him and let you and him work whatever deal you can work out.

here are some picture's of the manifold for a honda b-series engine
for more info about them go to Lovefab.com

All who is interrestedplease either reply here or my e-mail thank you

Lovefab is pretty much honda only.... not to mention a design manifold like that would most likely not fit on the ecotec engine.

i don't know why the poor guy would even bother.... you guys will all bitch that he won't make it, or how much time he's taking to make it.... then when it comes out no one will buy it because the price (which no doubt will be right on par with what honda/toyota/vw guys would pay for it in a heartbeat) is "too expensive"....

it will be out in 2 months and then it never shows up, we're sick of thuis crying wolf.. put up or shut up...

and jay dont be so close minded, people like myself would buy a high quality manifold..

I live very very close to williamsburg, that is if it is the Williamsburg near Traverse City. I dont have an eco unfortunatly, but I do have the 2200 and 2.2 motor if he is interested in that. Williamsburg is only 10-15 miles from my office. During the winter I wouldnt mind giving up my car for a couple of weeks. It is a 2200 but I store it in the winter. Let me know.

ok one big problem with that anytime a company join's this org to try and make a new product for us, what's the first thing people do they go look at the date he joined and start flaming. Plus i went to him looking to get one made not for him to start production on it, he said that if other people wanted it he would start production but it's all custom made anyways.

Exploited Racing wrote:Lovefab is pretty much honda only.... not to mention a design manifold like that would most likely not fit on the ecotec engine.

i stated in the beginning of the post that he mainly makes honda products. and i'm pretty sure the manifold in the picture i posted wouldn't fit our cars cause...let's see why not....oh i know it's for a B-SERIES Engine as i stated above

ccfab wrote:i wouldnt count on cody getting anything j body related out for some time if ever.

to quote Cody himself in the email he sent me "And Im very interested, a Civic is nothing more than an economy car either... "
Cody Loveland

Ok now that i delt with them to those of ya'll that showed some interest .

Here's how it's going to break down per engine we would need either five orders or at least one full turbo kit to be bought. and a donor car per engine.

Ok if we don't get 5 orders for the ecotec i'll buy the full kit, 4000 for a turbo kit with a garret GT Series turbo don't sound bad to me but that's how it'll be.

Rollinredcavi= i've sent your e-mail to him letting him know your interested on volunteering your car for the 2200 engine,

now we just need the ecotec and the 2.4, i'm mainly just concerd bout getting an ecotec.

but like i said those are the conditions, either you buy the full kit or get 5 people

I know it's pretty pointless of me to say this since people wont listen but if you're just going to flame, your comment isn't needed, so please keep it to yourself. thank you

that manifold looks good, good luck on trying to get more products prodused for j's i plan on makeing many kinds of manifolds soon

Re: Love fab Mini-me Manifold

If you guys are impressed with that manifold, you're gonna be blown away when you see what RD Fabs is up to...

Okay, the 2200 turbo manifold is gonna be proto-typed on my car this winter, so we have that one covered--and yes, we'll also be able to mass-produce it. We clean our welds up (unlike that one) and we only work with stainless steel.

Now guys...we're bringing in a 2.2L this winter as well to use for fabrication, but if anyone with a 2.4L or an Ecotec wants to step up to the plate and offer up their car, we could make those as well (you would most definitely get a discount off the price if your car is our guinnea pig.)

Just some food for thought...
