right now my car just got paid off and now i can start putting money into my engine. the problem is that my motor has so many miles on it now. i was wondering what is better to do. should i just go all out and get a full performance rebuild with everything you can think of, or should i get a new motor from jbody performance and start from there?
Rebuild yours or buy a lower mile engine from eBay, junkyard, etc... no need to get a new engine.

what can i do to check to see if my block is not in danger when i start putting all these parts on because eventually i plan on getting the gm supercharger kit and i want to get at least 10 psi daily driven on the motor whan i am done.
105,000 miles , and boost since 100,000
no signs of problems yet , and ive got a spare motor just in case
what about block sleeves? I saw a company called darton and they make sleeves for hondas but what about our cars? anybody heard of them
did you baby it with synthetic oil, or beat it with dyno-oil?
If you want to be uber safe. Do an engine rebuild. The haynes manual has all the info you need to succesfully do one.
