If I am running the GM S/C reflash it is programmed for 310cc injectors, if I want to run 440cc injectors, what can I do to make it run stoich off boost? where can I buy these products, and are they easy to tune?
thanks guys

I am looking at a cartech adjustable that claims it does idle and FPR, would it be a wise idea to get a seperate one that goes in the factory spot? where can I buy one?
thanks again

hmm i was under the idea that the gm supercharger program would adjust for that large of injector? I dont know waht to do now.
Thanx Charles
Okay well the Cartech unit does NOT allow you to adjust your idle pressure.... it only comes into play once it sees boost......... and is adjustable to raise fuel pressure based on the boost reading it is recieving from the intake manifold....
I have 330cc on my 2.2...... with AFPR and FMU ..... no problems here....

LEE..... he has the supercharged reflash so he cant use a fmu........ from what i understand but font qoute me on it is that in order for him to get his car to run properly he needs to use an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to turn down his fuel pressure at idle.
CHARLES...... yes the gm supercharger program will adapt to the extra fuel but everything has its limits and I doubt that the computer with the reflash would be able to compensate for that extra130cc of fuel.... If im wrong someone with more experience will hopefully step in and correct me

boost will be soon for me....
well the reflash is good for 310cc injectors and factory (small) superchargers CFM, I want larger injectors so I can run a little more boost, and keep around 12.1-12.3. so if I was to up injector size, (random number) 20%, and lower idle FP 20% would I still get the same amount of fuel?
Then it would be as simple as getting a adjustable Fuel pressure regulator, and also running a FPR, the main reason I have the s/c reflash, is to get the timing boost controlled.

get some 370cc injectors from rc engineering....... easier way to get around the problem........ it sure would be a lot easier to tune with them plus im sure they would hold over what ever amount of power.......... also another thing to consider with high boost is a walbro pump or something close to it........ gotta have the pressure there other wise bigger problems with come out

yah I have an intank 255lph pump, I'm not sure what kind of power I wanna run but I would like to setup the engine so I can run 250-300whp in the future, I don't have enough money to build the whole drivetrain for now, but I am building an engine and would like to have that end taken care of, so I can turn it up in the future.
I used some crappy fuel injector size calculator and it said even at 60-70 psi FP, 440 should be good for (from memomry) I think like 300ish BHP, didn't check 370..hmm

do you know who sells a good factory replacement adjustable regulator? to adjust idle FP

ge_forcez22: Look in my profile.
cartech does have a fmu that does fuel pressure , and the rising rate for boost
i know 2 people with them
ive got the 36lb injectors from the redline/cobalt ss/sc , and ive droped base fuel pressure to 30 , and im still got more fuel than i need , while cruising , and i went from low 13's at wide open to low 12's to mid 11's
i need a smaller pulley now
440's will be way to big unless you can control the siginal to them
I agree ^. If you choose to do 440's then you'll need to go with a different tuning platform most likely. As for FPR's, the best way to go IMO is Aeromotive.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
yah I have some friends who have used the aeromotive, thanks for the help guys. I have not yet decided what I will do on that behalf, but I have some time, I still am waiting for pistons, rods, and thats about it, everything else is being shipped to me now
