If you want, get in touch with the guy on ebay who does Manifolds out of Canada. Im almost certain he's helped boost an LD9 at some point. I even remember seeing his auctions for 2.4's.. He's probably in the midst of fabbing up another.

Cars N Effects sells a beautiful 2.4 Tubular Turbo Manifold:

for more info on it, read this thread... http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=40&i=89868&t=89868#89868. You can also go to their site http://www.cnfxperformance.com or contact Tony @ CNFX

also CCFab is in production of a new 2.4 (LD9) manifold & 2.2 ECOTEC manifold (I'm actually their first ECOTEC manifold purchaser). The head of CCFab is on the JBO, you can contact Josh and he'll help you out with any future questions... Josh @ CCFab.

Anymore questions, just ask.

what is the differance between the log and tube styles other than the what they look. Is there a differance in power or the way it spools up?

I thought it was a HE? He's the one that sends us all of our manifolds...his name is Jason (unless his wife does the welding? not sure).

He also makes them with external wastegate flanges for our company, so if you need one of those, just let me know and I'll shoot him an e-mail about it..

well when I emailed 'him' the name they responded with was "jason".. so I say its a HE

equal length turbo headers generally flow a lot better then log styles.

log styles take up less room, and are generally less expensive to buy. They do not flow as well as a turbo header.

Yea, I'd go CNFX on this one. And that tubular that was posted is the prototype. They're making a new prototype that will use thicker tubing, and tighter bends. But their log style manifolds are kick butt too.

they are making a new prototype? how long for the wait? Im in no hurry to jump the gun, cause Im building my own turbo kit over the 06 year. I figure Ill save 1500 bucks or so. that 1500 could build up a bottom end

FMU AND INJECTORS.

And a fuel pump, and an AFPR... and an MSD.... and and and.

12-14 psi takes a lot of bandaids to make the 2.4 fall in love with boost.

Read my mod list.

if you are planning on running 14 psi, you definitely need a MSD BTM or the MSD Programmable DIS-2

I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.

%^&* there is a lot of things to do to that kind of psi. maybe 8-10 psi. I was just in the mind of needing.......

manifold, T3 turbo, wastegate, BOV, pipe, FMIC, fuel pump, injectors, FMU, reflashed, cooler spark plugs, HO intake maniflod with an after market TB, 15 feet of vac hose, silacone pipe conectors, hose clamps, 2.5" DP, 3" back exhaust. then off to tune. + the bolt ons and mounts ill need

Am i missing something. I feel that I am. I wan a mild setup mind you guys. nothing tooo extreme just a DSM killer. All the DSM's round here are mostly stock and the kids think they got the power of a 396 BB. Id be one of the first in my local are with a cavi that could.
Re: turbo manifold

crap I feel stupid. motor will be able to handle this also. motor is being built slowly right now.

how much are you getting a ecotec manifold for your car adam? Im in a debate between exploited, CNFX, j tuners, ccfab or a ebay one. Im still a lil biased against the ebay one cause I read about a few that had them had to fix a few things that were wrong with them. Plus I was going to get what ever manifold I get ceramic coated. where can I get that done?

Umm...I can't really say how much I'm paying for it. I would suggest contacting Josh so he can give you a price, I'm sure it's fair and reasonable.

CNFX provides a JET HOT coating option. And the next tubular style header will be finished right after the current ECOTEC tubular prototype is finished. For those of you who are interested in log style manifolds, they are almost done with a 2.4 log and they already have done an ECOTEC, so the jig is already made up for that.

yea I suppose CNFX would be one way to go but the price for a manifold is so high.
