first off no i'm not a newbie. i used to be on here i just haven't been on in a while and forgot my password and have a differant e-mail.

now what the topic is about, supercharged j-body's.
i'm researching to see what kind of power and times people are getting with superchargers. i don't want to go turbo i'd rather be blown.
i would like to know who is super charged what year your car is, what engine, mods, which supercharger, how much boost your using, hp and torque #'s, 0-60 or 1/4 mile times and whatever else you can add would be helpfull. Thanx

also to my understanding if you were to supercharge a 95 z24 cavalier 5spd with an eaton supercharger which i believe is a twin screw type supercharger, you could use a bigger pulley on the crank and a smaller pulley on the supercharger for more boost, at least that's what i've been told. is this true? thanx alot guys.

Well for a 2.4L there is the RSM and GM as you would know most likely... both very good kits... but i know personally the GM one is faster (buddy with a GM s/c'er has beaten this RSM supercharged 2.4L many times and never lost yet and its a pretty big gap too)
and has more options to change your boost levels... but on the down side can not be intercooled so if you want to go any smaller then a 2.7" pulley (stock is 2.8") you pretty much have to use alcohol injection which isn't bad at all... cleans out all your internals in your engine and raises your fuels octane level.. I am hitting about 10psi of boost with the 2.6" pulley... have yet to try the 2.5" pulley though

But being that your car is a 95 RSM from what i remember has a kit for your car that you wouldn't have to mess around as much as if you got the GM one meant for 2000+ Jbodys and would still give you good power levels..

yea its street legal... Lots of people i know use it in their Grand Nationals along with my dad, thats where i came up with the idea... Works great

Before the alcohol was in the supercharger would be SOOO HOT!!!

now the harder i run the colder it gets (more alcohol goes threw) and the supercharger is ice cold even after 10+ hard runs here is a pic of my engine bay with it in...
