i would use the wire off the relay that feeds the power to the pump to turn on another relay for the inline pump

this way the pcm only has to turn on the stock relay , and wont over load its low output signal

also it means you have double protection on the external pump , if the stock fuel pump happens to blow its fuse neither pump will work , incase there is a major problem

that is how i hooked up my friends external pump , i tapped his in at the wires under the relays , in the box next to the battery under the hood

ok well i tied the external pump in with the grey wire. and now the car bogs around 3g, or when i hit boost. it wasnt doin this before so i think that the wire i tapped into might b wrong. can someone tell me if its the right one or not. or which color wire i tap into. 01 2200 cavy

Back when i had my vortech inline fuel pump,my car would bog out on me when i was below 1/4 of a tank.If i drove it easy it would be fine, but as soon as i romped on it,it would bog out.Just put some more gas in your tank and see if it stops bogging.
