hi just back from iraq did gm release the charger yet?
no.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
No, unfortunately, GM is delaying it AGAIN! I was supposed to get this as well but I'm glad I changed my mind and went the turbo route.
So right now, it's up in the air.

Have you attached it yet?
I've seen the posts by airtonics about attaching his m62, but they leave a lot of questions un-answered; like,
What do you do with the pully tensioner?
Does the alternator need to be relocated?
What about the other vertical arm thing which makes the accesory belt drive the SC correctly?
What about having the wrong number of ribs on the crank pully compared to the SC?
I have the gm sport build book, but this obviously includes all the parts to solve these problems - if you have the engine, i guess you have to find other solutions?
Cheers, Paul.
i should be starting this project on my g/fs cav hopefully next month
shes gotta get rims and tires first so i can put the big brakes up front , before i put the s/c on it
no since going fast if you cant stop !!!

i'd love to build and boost my gf's cavalier too. hell, if she wanted to pay for it, i'd put a Jtuners stage 2 kit on it and leave it at 6 psi. I'm not dealing with the pre-2200 fuel setup, which is why I decided to build a 2200 in the first place. And about stopping... that's what chutes are for... and gaurd rails, trees, and walls... lol

Rodimus,
Did you ever check your MSD Cam Sync Gen to see if the LED stays on or blinks during engine idle for me? I hope I just got a bad Cam Sync Gen and just replace it with a new one, my GM Charger is just sitting in my room waiting to be bolted for the winter weather!!!URGGGGGG!! I hate this flipping code.
i havent had the msd hooked up in months so i really dont know, im not sure what your issue is, without seeing it i really cant tell you any more

Unfortuantly I heard 3 grand for just the supercharger kit.
The whole 2.0L ecotec w/supercharger is like $3800.
I was thing about the GM s/c for my 02 but whats better the gm stile s/c or the RSM s/c. Whats the difrence if there is any? Or sould I just turbo. Every ones telling me to turbo but im not hearing any thing from the s/c side of things. Any advice?
Beware the Rouge Dragon.

yea thats the part number for the supercharger only..................
i.e if you were gonna buy a new one for your ss or somehting.
if you buy that you still haev to buy the manifold and all the hardware.
the actual full kit costs 3800 and i called the main gm warehouse friday and i got
"The Part number you have entered is a future release item which is not yet available. The ordering of this item will result in the cancelation of the order When it is processed.
No release date has been announced. Thank you for calling"
Yea i spell liek wrong get over it.
Does the GM s/c for the 2.2 Ecotec come with all of the necessary hard ware or do you have to find additional parts to make it complete i.e intercooler, new injectors, fuel pump ect.
