hey hows it going? i just recently had my 96 Z24 turboed, it runs really good....very fun car to drive now.......only one thing, ever since i had it done the car likes to idle really choppy. it will idle low, then normal, then low, then normal, then sometimes higher sorta thing. my buddy that had a cavalier before said that there was something called the "idle relearn" or something that was common that you had to do with cavaliers because they love to idle weird after being modified....i dunno. if you guys have any suggestions that would be awsome.

check the voltage on your TPS and IAC
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
I was told by the dealer ship to let your car cool right down like leave it over night... then in the morning start it up and let it run for like 20min or till its compleatly warmed up and you your computer will be all good again... but yea i get a new IAC valve which is very cheap and get the TPS sensor checked out and then do that and you will be all good ...
thats what i did with mine and it idle like a dream now

I had the same problem in which you had. My friend told to put the car in drive and sit there with my foot on the brake for about 5min. He said he had to do that with his grand prix when his got all messed up. He heard that it works. So i tried the same thing and it worked. Mabey it was some miracelous event that it started working all of a sudden...or mabey this trick actually workes.....try it out......see if it works for you.
