well, to put it blunt.....i love these.....my car no longer feels like its pulling timing.....i guess you could say it evened out the WHOLE rpm band.....no more surging, hell i dont even have the warm up and almost die problem now lol.....no problems whatsoever.....but they are a pretty penny lol....almost 30 for 4 of em.....cant complain tho....
on a side note.....i looked at the old plugs and the top of them were white.....and they were gapped at 42 lol.....the new ones are at 35.....but the plugs were white
and im happy because when i took the STOCK plugs out to put the ones that came with the charger in....i kinda pulled the threads on the right one.....dunno if it cyl 1 or 4....but we re-tapped it and it came out no problemo....so im happy about that also....that is all.....

i have the rapid fire # 5's from ac delco and i like them .
what part # are they?
( i still cant find the #5 part numbers, as i wouldnt mind throwing in a fresh set of plugs this summer/ have some handy).
so i might try the ones u got. maybe.
Ya Part numbers please
Car is for Sale!Supercharger kit is for sale!
this brings a question to my mind. im turboing my car in a few days and was gonna just get some more tr6's should i gap them differently or leave them at the stock gap?

I thought that the plugs that came with the GM blower kit were AC-R42LTS which from what I was reading, the NGK conversion is the TR5IX?

the gm s/c plugs are one step colder.
thanks for the part # for the rapid fire #5's.
over the years i learned to stick with OEM brand name plugs, i tried them all/researched them all and you will hear a bad story about all the aftermarket brands more so then a OEM brand.

and ngk is aftermarket?
All "Saab" plugs are ngk, repackaged.
NGK's are just as much aftermarket as they are OEM.

So I need the NGK IX (tr6ix)?
Almost willing to give these a shot, though I haven't had many misfires with my Rapid Fire #5's I have now.

AC delco plugs are used in GM engines. I have a GM engine.
The rest is aftermarket.
i Most of the fastest quad 4's known run rapid fire #5 plugs , so i just stuck with what is proven to be good.
most gm cars will come with ac delco eveything they are the oem supplier for GM, rapid fire #5s are generally known as the best 2.4 plugs, i wish they had something like that for the ecotec, maybe in 3 years when the gm supercharger kit comes out it will have them
