!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Questions On Boosting The ECO

OK here is the deal. i posted in i beleieve in maintenance. I have a 2005 pontiac sunfire with around 5k miles. It has already had gear ratlle, and a bad power steering pump. I am trying to decide if i want to keep this car or not. If i dont i am going to pay off this loan in the next few months and trade the car in for a new 2006 subaru wrx impreza. If i decide to keep this car and try and forget about all of these problems that i have encountered on a pratically new car, i want to do something drastic to this car, aka boost. i do not really want to waste my money on small crap anymore, if i am going to do that i might as well spend 20K on a awd turbo car if thats the case. so if i decide to keep this car i want to go boost. so here are some thigns i want to ask.....

1.Is there still no word on gm supercharger for the ecotec? if so how much freaking longer?
2. if i went the gm supercharger way, what is everything going to cost me i have not seen any costs.
3.if i went turbo i would like to go hahn stage 1. what is the cost on this kit, and is it fairly reliable? i do not want to put this turbo on and blow the motor 5k after its been on. ALso what would the install costs/tune on the turbo set-up(i just need a ruff estament)
4. can you talk me out of selling this car? haha.
5. if anybody has any other input i would lvoe to hear it, so i can make a decision easier/faster. my goal is a 13 sec car, and if thats not possible with the above then tell me that.

if you want a 13 second car using a hahn kit you better invest in the stage 2 kit. your gonna need a IC for the boost it'll take to get you to the good 13s

I used to race cars, now I race myself.

1.GM right now is on my list of companies I'm pissed off at. They keep pushing the date back so we have no clue.

2. GM told me for kit and install, $5,000

3. It's reasonable but the Stage 2 is worth upgrading to. We have some people breaking 12s on the stage 2 kit...it's awesome.

4. I don't think anyone could...you make the decisions.

5. Hahn stage 2 kit and properly tuned, you'll reach low 13s.

Yes. Hypsy is running High 12s on a stock motor and no issues because it's tuned to a "T". I believe it costs around $3300 but hypsy can give you a direct price on it.

Install and Tune cost...that all depends who does it and if you tune it yourself with a wideband or take it to a dynoshop. Dyno shops usually charge $100 each hour it's being tuned (atleast around here).

I hit 13.8 on 6psi ... with a kit I made myself using the saab turbo and manifold.

you can run 6psi without an intercooler. I'm not sure if I would have made enough HP to hit a 13 without my IC though.

im on stock motor.

13's is reachable for you. Just be sure to tune it properly with a wideband.

I am starting to think about boosting my cavi...but for some reason I would rather get a s/c but I dunno how much the cost would be, plus all the extra stuff that would be needed...and how hard is it to actually install a turbo and all the piping and intercooler, plus everything else needed?

I'm sure it's not all that difficult if you have a good amount of mechanical knowledge but if you don't, find friends who know what they are doing so they can help you out or take it to professional.

Yeah, that's hard to say...

It could honestly be anywhere from $500-1200, every place charges differently. Granted, $1200 is extreme in my opinion but I have gotten quoted for that at one time which was total BS.
