Ok i start my install this weekend and i was reading up on the tuning of the turbo install and as i look at all this i have a question. My question is, because i have an auto eco (2003) the car will want to go into a closed loop so i cant ever get the right a/f mixture. Because of the VSS i cant even tune the car, i just dont know how to get around this. ANY IDEAS? I have asked a few people here and no ideas yet.
well, 2003 is an iffy year... some have open loop operation and some don't... the only way to be absolutely positive that you'll have full control over your fuel tuning is by running megasquirt, or an extra injector setup. Either one works, personally I'd go with megasquirt but if you're less electronically inclined the extra injector setups work very well also.

Ok well i was thinking about this and how much does a full kit for the megasquirt cost, everything i need to make the car run right. I was thinking of just buying this and have shop put it on because this is somthing that is somewhat over my head. Will it work for sure and how much do you think a shop would charge.
I did read up on the prices, but i was not sure about it. And i did not know the avg. price a shop will charge. And i just did not have the time to read right now... I am in school right now and i have this week of school and im out, just need to study right now and looking for quick answers. I know how all you feel about research, sorry.
