How much psi drop is expected after adding a 30x6x3" Intercooler.?

Ask the manufactuer of the intercooler. If they don't know.....I would get it pressure tested to make sure its even worth running.

maybe a pound .... a pound and a half.... just a guess... you won't know till you drive it .........take the psi you see on your guage....... minus the psi of your wastegate spring....
thats how much your loosing.........
so say you have an 8 pound waste gate spring ...
so you see 8 psi before you add the i/c........
you then see 6.7psi once you add the i/c...
thats your loss.....

Not really..... The only way to know for sure is to have 2 boost gauges, one before the intercooler and one after it.

Nice, I will put another boost gauge inline with my wastegate actuator to see the difference.
Buying one......
Now, what is pressure tested.? It's is just to see if it has any leak or something more complicated.

why do you care about your psi drop .... just know what PSI your spring is in your actuator
and get a MBC to control it anything above and beyond

He should care about what kind of PSI drop his intercooler has. If its dropping more than 2psi, he should get it pressure tested or get a new one. Might as well do it right the first time.
