I heard that the 03+ Cavaliers need to use a special kind of spacer for the Saab injectors. Is this true? If so or not, please help me out. I'm going with a Saab turbo + manifold setup soon.

It is true, only the 02 ecotecs are a direct swap for the saab injectors. Youll need to fabricate a spacer on your own somehow.
Its easier just to use bosch style injectors like RC engineer or cheaper yet ford style (red tops, green tops) just make sure there high impedence. Its a direct swap no modifications. your choice!

umm you can use saab injectors just fine
i have them on mine.....they are on an 03 fuel rail w/ the regular cav spacers....no problems.....you can kinda see the green on the injectors by the rail.
And Brandonson is using them on his eco also.......and maybe others....they are a direct swap....mines an 03...i just swapped the injectors
i can get you some if need be. just pm me if interested.

I know those are ford green tops...... and what did you say about 98 and older??
I have a 2001 and it excepts ford green tops....
as a direct swap..... I just put in red tops........ either way I know they work......
on my 2200 rail direct.....

yea the saab greens are a direct swap
the saab are direct plug in
LEE the pics you posted , you have to swap the electricalconnector end to make them work
that is why i said not direct plug in
all the cavs 99-05 have the smaller connector end on them , the 98-older use the big one

^^ He's Right about the plugs for the ford (bosch) Style tops. I forgot to mention that in my post...the actuall injector will be a direct swap in you fuel rail etc; But the sotck plugs for will need to be snipped and soldered on the ford style plugs. Either you can get them at a junk yard OR ask the ebay seller if hes got the plugs for extra (thats what i did....) $5.00 more for brand new clips. You only have 2 wires to solder up.
The Saab injector's and stock eco injector connectors are called micro-pak (pack). The fords are called mini-timer. The neon injectors (which I'm using right now) are US car. Then Mercedes has their own style, which we call Mercedes. It is a slight variation of the mini timers.
I'll check the email when I get back to my house later on tonight.
oh btw, each manufacturer is not necessarily restricted to a specific connector. they choose what they want to use. for example, the cobra injectors i believe are US car connectors.
